The villa offers pure relaxation. Lounge at the pool overlooking the lake, play billiards or board games, or have a dining setup at the veranda so you can enjoy meals at the view. You can also swim or kayak at the lake.

Another thing that we love about Caliraya Lake Front Resort is that it is stunning! And the rate is affordable especially for groups.

GC’s Farmhouse is located in Silang, Cavite, just an hour from the metro and 30 minutes away from Tagaytay. A little caveat though: going up the resort requires climbing up stairs. While the staff is ready to help you with luggage, take this into consideration if you’re booking with the elderly!

We actually stayed here in their Hideaway Villa, which is good for 2 people and comes with its own kawa hot bath. We had an amazing time relaxing, feeding sheep and horses, and swimming in the shared swimming pool.

For groups, their traditional houses are not only comfortable, but beautiful as well. In fact, they were even set as filming locations for the series Maria Clara & Ibarra!

14. Julian’s Island Lodge

Julian’s Island Lodge is the perfect choice for those who want to truly experience an island getaway! Located in the quiet town of Cavinti, this 2-storey house was built in a small islet in Lumot Lake. It offers an opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy the tranquil waters of the lake.

It features 3 bedrooms and an attic with additional beddings. There is no airconditioning, but with the high altitude of its location you don’t really need one! Enjoy the cool weather during your staycation. It also has a living room, dining and kitchen areas, a gazebo, and a jetty.

The best thing to do here is to relax and enjoy lake activities including swimming and kayaking. You can also request for fresh tilapia from the lake for grilling!

There is no swimming pool, but there’s the whole Lumot Lake for you to enjoy.
