Casa Bisita: This Modern Private Resort in Bulacan is Perfect for Chill Weekends

Share this:

One of the joys of traveling is discovering private accommodations that we can share with you, especially those that are perfect for weekend escapes. I know this perfectly since living in the metro can truly be stressful at times. This month, Hali and I stayed at Casa Bisita — a newly opened modern tropical villa in Meycauayan, Bulacan.

This private resort in Bulacan is perfect for families and groups who want to enjoy a relaxing weekend. It’s also close to Manila. It’s only 20 minutes from the metro (coming from Valenzuela City) so getting there is easy!

Our stay at Casa Bisita

I stayed here overnight with my boyfriend Hali. From the south, it only took us an hour to get there. The commute alone is refreshing since we’re used to traveling at least 2 hours to get to exclusive accommodations.

First impressions first — Casa Bisita is gorgeous! Here is a modern 2-storey villa with an outdoor pool. The villa features a clean, minimalist design and fitted with wooden furniture. I read a description saying this is “Ikea inspired.”

It has 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom features a queen-sized canopy bed with en suite bathroom and a veranda that overlooks the pool below. I really like the aesthetics here, it’s so relaxing and IG-worthy. The other bedroom has two double beds and also has its own bathroom.

The living room has floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open up to the pool, so you can enjoy the sight even when staying indoors. We stayed here to watch Netflix, thanks to the fast WIFI.

The dining area has a 10-seater dining table and an adjacent kitchen that is separated with a sliding door. The kitchen has basic cookware, rice cooker, electric kettle, microwave, and refrigerator. There is also a free 5-gallon drinking water, which we appreciated because it’s a hassle to bring gallons (especially in big groups).

There are no plates and utensils though, so you need to bring your own. I have missed this in the details sent to us, so we just used the boxes in the takeaway food that we’ve brought. I prefer bringing takeaways anyway since I don’t want to use up my time cooking, but if you like to do your own cooking, most of the things you need are provided here.

There is even a dirty kitchen with a modern grill if you want to serve barbecues.

Of course, the highlight of our stay in Casa Bisita is the pool! The pool is a beautiful turquoise blue and beside it is a cabana where you can enjoy meals outdoors or just relax after swimming.

The water in the pool is cold, so it’s perfect for hot days. We spent a lot of time in the pool area because of how beautiful it is! We also brought a flamingo float which we mainly used for taking pictures haha.

Even at night, the pool is still beautiful.

Overall, this is one of the best private resorts in Bulacan we’d been to. We went here to relax, swim, and watch Netflix at night and we’d accomplish that. I love the aesthetics and vibes of the whole villa — it’s a great place to bring your family over to chill for the weekend. I also like the surrounding garden and potted plants in the house, which gives it a cozy, homey vibe.

Even though we encountered a minor issue (we didn’t bring our own plates and utensils), our stay was still perfect. I honestly had no complaints here because I feel that Casa Bisita is a place that is built with careful attention to details and aesthetics.
