Level8 Luggage Review: Glitter Carry-On

As a travel writer, having a high-quality luggage that I can regularly use is important. Ideally, I want a luggage that’s easy to use, roomy enough to carry essential belongings for short trip, and lastly one that will last for a long time.

A few months, Level8 sent me luggage sets to bring on trips. Here’s my review of Level8 Glitter Carry-On in white!

Level8 is a New York-based company offering premium suitcases. They ship in different countries worldwide.

Confession time: This is my first time to own Level8 luggage suitcases. I was actually unfamiliar with the brand since it is not available in physical stores in the Philippines, but when I mentioned it to a travel blogger friend, she got excited and said it’s one of the best luggage brands out there. After that, I looked forward to using one of my Level8 luggage suitcases in my trips as well!

I’ve since used this luggage twice or thrice on short trips. Without further ado, here are my personal opinions on the pros and cons of the Level8 Glitter Carry-On luggage.

Pros

I chose the Level8 Glitter Carry-On among other luggage options since I was immediately drawn to its eye-catching design. Note: it doesn’t actually have any glitter! But the chic, simple design is still a standout and I’ve received compliments on it during travels.

I like bringing it with me because it adds an elegant, feminine touch to my whole look. Dark-colored suitcases are fine, but as a woman I’ve always wanted to have more options!

As for usage, the carry-on is highly functional. It has durable hard-shell exterior for protection, spinner wheels that glide effortlessly, and retractable handle with multiple height options for convenience.

In short: it’s easy to use and carry.

One of my favorite features of this carry-on is the spacious interior. It has two zippered compartments with a total capacity of 38 liters (which is larger than other Level8 carry-ons). It’s just perfect for fitting my essentials for a weekend trip — and even have room to spare for souvenir.

I also like the free tag and luggage cover, which also fits the stylish aesthetic of the carry-on.

The Level8 Glitter Carry-On has other features that will make it useful for international travels. Specifically, it has a built-in TSA-approved lock. TSA-approved locks can be opened by TSA officials with a master key, so they save time and hassle at international airports and can also save money because you won’t need to buy additional locks. I haven’t taken it internationally it but find this feature notable to mention.

I have used this carry-on a few times on short trips and staycations, and so far it has held up wonderfully.

Cons

The Level8 Glitter Carry-On has every essential feature for a carry-on luggage. But as someone who frequently needs to be online and get some work done, one feature that I’m missing is a laptop compartment. I know that Level8 offers other carry-on luggages with a laptop compartment so I may need to check those out.

Overall Review

Overall, I love my Level8 Glitter Carry-On. It combines style and functionality in one sleek package. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to stand out in the same regular suitcases at the airport?

I haven’t really used it for a long time so I can’t speak for its durability, but as I said above, so far I’ve encountered no issues with my use of the luggage.

Level8 is also on the pricy side, but if you’re looking for a brand known for quality, durability, and style, then I’d say it’s worth buying especially if you’re a frequent traveler.
