Reca Private Resorts: Stylish Bali-Inspired Resort in Pampanga
Bali will always have a special place in my heart, and I love staying at places that remind me of it. Here’s our recent visit to Reca Private Resorts in Pampanga, which is a resort compound featuring Bali-inspired villas with pool.

Our stay at Reca Private Resorts
There are different private villas inside Reca Private Resorts. Hali and I stayed at Bali Infinity Villa, which has a gorgeous outdoor pool and traditional-designed interiors. It was rainy during our stay, and this villa was a good place for a staycation!
There are 2 rooms inside the villa, each with 2 queen-sized beds, private bathroom with hot and cold shower, and TV with Netflix. We stayed at the one with a pool view. It was nice chilling at the bed and waking up being greeted by a view outdoors. I also liked the scented humidifier in the room – the relaxing scent was a nice touch.
There is also a living/dining area, a separate bathroom, and a kitchen with refrigerator, rice cooker, and pots and pans. There are no dinnerware and utensils though (except for 2 mugs). Hali and I didn’t bring food to cook, since we prefer bringing take-outs or dining out whenever we’re on an overnight staycation, but I think it will be a major convenience to guests to have plates and utensils available.
The good thing is that this resort is a few minute drive to restaurants, from fast food to home-grown restaurants where you can find Kapampangan dishes. Hali and I brought pizzas from Angel’s Pizza nearby, which we had eaten during our stay.
The villa also has a pool with a sitting area, surrounded by day lounges and a small garden. As with other pools, it is powered by Copper Technology instead of using chlorine. This effectively sanitizes the pool and is a healthier option for young children and adults to swim in.
We swam at night and then the morning after. The water was lukewarm and it’s about 4 feet high, so it’s ideal for a casual swim. The pool actually has LED lights which can be turned on at night, but we preferred its natural vibes.
We had a nice stay at the Bali Infinity Villa. I liked the design of the villa — the indoors and outdoors were very IG-worthy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciate that there was a button inside the villa which you can press to call a staff to your villa whenever you need assistance. It was very convenient.
That saying, I think it could also do with improvements. The addition of dinnerware, utensils, and even drinking water would elevate guest experience. We also saw insects in the villa, which according to the staff is due to the resort’s proximity to other farms, but they were quick to clean and sanitize the rooms. I really liked how the staff were so helpful with our issues and requests, and we felt properly taken care of during our stay.
Overall, I recommend Reca Private Resorts for groups of friends or families who want a stylish getaway in Pampanga. With the on-going developments in this resort and its sister resort (Reca Farm and Resorts), it’s poised to be one of the top resorts in Pampanga.
