It’s Officially Christmas Season at Taal Vista Hotel
Nowadays, there are plenty of hotels in Tagaytay that you can choose from for relaxing getaways, but Taal Vista Hotel remains a classic choice. Offering one of the best views of Taal Volcano along with top-notch hotel amenities, this hotel is a great option for couples and families — more so this holiday season!
Personally, Taal Vista Hotel is one of my favorite hotels near Manila. I had a wonderful time during my recent stay and I’m grateful to be invited again for their annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Christmas Tree Lighting
Last November 18, Taal Vista Hotel held its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, with a theme “Where Christmas feels like home.”
It was led by SM Hotels & Conventions Corp. President Elizabeth Sy, SM Hotels & Conventions Corp. Executive Vice President Peggy Angeles, and Taal Vista Hotel General Manager Ramon Makilan. Also featured are the children of Augustinian Sisters Servants of Jesus and Mary, which are the beneficiaries of the event.
The hotel was filled with festive cheer as the giant Christmas trees in the lobby and outdoors (made by Pampanga craftsmen) are lit and the lounge was adorned with seasonal decorations. If you think the hotel can’t get anymore IG-worthy, wait ‘til you see its holiday displays!
The Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony was followed by a special Holiday Wine Dinner, featuring special dishes from Taal Vista Hotel’s kitchen and paired wines from Titania Wine Cellar. We, the guests, were also serenaded by known performers including Brian Cimafranca, Jasmine Fitzgerald, and the Imusicapella Choir.
The full-course dinner was great. I especially loved the fresh tuna salad and the pan-seared Kitayama strip loin. The wines were amazing as well. I can’t wait to see what the hotel will be offering for its Christmas meals!
