Marriott International Celebrates Four Restaurants Named MICHELIN Selected for the Second Consecutive Year in the Philippines

For the second year, Marriott International has captured the attention of the MICHELIN Guide, further cementing its place in the Philippine’s evolving culinary landscape. In the 2027 edition of the prestigious guide, four restaurants across its properties retained MICHELIN Selected recognition. The awarding ceremony took place at the Marriott Grand Ballroom of Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts, on Thursday, October 29. 

Below is the complete list of awarded restaurants:

• Cru Steakhouse at Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts. An upscale, classic steakhouse celebrated for its hand-cut prime meats and open-theater kitchen.
• Man Ho at Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts. An elegant fine-dining destination offering time-honored Cantonese cuisine with contemporary twists.
• Cantabria by Chele Gonzalez at The Westin Manila. A fine casual restaurant on the top floor, rooted from the northern coast of Spain—a tierra infinita, or “infinite landscape,” celebrated for pristine seafood, lush greenery, and culinary gems from the land and sea.
• DIP Nikkei at Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort. Set within a seaside resort, DIP captivates the palate with a masterful blend of Peruvian flair and Japanese craftsmanship, where every dish tells a story of innovation and flavor.

These restaurants are evaluated using the same five universal criteria applied to MICHELIN Starred restaurants: quality of ingredients, harmony of flavors, mastery of culinary techniques, personality of the chef as expressed through their cuisine, and consistency across the menu.
