So far, we’d kept our travels within the country as part of our Philippines First advocacy. Next year though, we’re excited to start our out-of-the-country trips! Thus this list on the most romantic restaurants in Dubai.
Dubai is not only a common destination of local professionals, this city located in the UAE is also famous for its deserts and seas, top-notch architecture and design and, of course, food havens. Here I’ve compiled an initial list of romantic restaurants in Dubai that we’d like to try once we visit this city.
La Serre Bistro & Boulangerie
La Serre is one of the most iconic restaurants in the Dubai, certainly not to be missed. It stands out for its interesting concept – a street side café on the ground floor offering fresh bread and pastries and a bistro on the first floor for fine dining.
The La Serre bistro is perfect for couples looking for classy, romantic ambiance. Its menu includes sumptuous French and Mediterranean dishes and various choices of cocktails and drinks. Its interior features crisp white-washed walls and large windows where diners can enjoy a view Downtown Dubai, which is even said to be more beautiful on sunsets and evenings.
It’s easy to see why this upscale restaurant has a certain allure for lovers in the city.
Dhow Dinner Cruise
Dinner cruises are a safe formula for romantic evenings, especially if the sight involves the glowing city lights of Dubai. Dhow Dinner Cruise involves a two-hour cruise in Dubai creek; it’s one of the many cruises in the area. Guests in the cruise are welcomed with Arabian coffee and then later served with a BBQ dinner buffet.
Based on reviews, the best spot here is on the upper deck where the food can be enjoyed in open air. Aside from the cruise itself, we’re also looking forward to seeing the often talked-about traditional music and Tanura dance show included in its package.
A list of romantic restaurants in Dubai wouldn’t be complete without a mention of Pierchic. Pierchic is a high-end seafood restaurant that is famous for is its unique setting. It’s located at the end of a private pier at Al Qasr, surrounded by turquoise sea and with a view of the Persian Gulf, the Dubai coastline and even the famous sail-shaped luxury hotel Burj al Arab.
Although rates are more expensive compared to other post restaurants in Dubai, most guests agree that its location more than makes up for the dining experience. It’s frequented by families and couples who’d like to celebrate anniversaries or have memorable dining experience.
Have you been to this city and any of these romantic restaurants in Dubai? What are your feedbacks or other suggested dinner places?
